My name is Sihao Zhang, from Shanghai, China. I am a master student majored in Management, Economics and Consumer Studies at Wageningen University with the specialization Operations Research and Logistics. In the last semester, we are requested to do a four-months academic internship in real-life practice. At the same time, Tropical Seeds B.V would like provide an opportunity for me to conduct some concrete projects related to the Chinese market.
I think Tropical Seeds B.V is a nice platform for me to do my internship. The first time I met Mr. Arthur and Mr. Anton was at the International Floriculture & Horticulture Trade Fair (IFTF) in 2014. Though the communication with them on the exhibition, their creative inspirations and passions toward their businesses and the industry gave me a profound impression. Definitely, Tropical Seeds is the leader specialized in supply seeds with high-quality standard and competitive prices in worldwide. Both of that make me interested in being a part of this company.
My general aim is to help Tropical Seeds B.V conduct a concrete research project concerning supply chain management, as well as the marketing research in the Chinese market. I believe that my practical experience and education background will be an asset for Tropical Seeds. Moreover, I would like to appreciate Mr. Arthur and Mr. Anton again for their kind and sincere invitation which allows me have chances to gain more experience and knowledge from the internship.
