Last November we visit suppliers in different parts of south Africa As we paid a visit to customers which were on the route. We visit regularly the company’s around the world To see the fields where seeds are harvested is very important. To talk to the people in the field gives us a better understanding of the challenges they face This can be talking about the weather , fertilizer and other plant issues to how to prevent the monkey’s to eat the seeds. This way we secure quality and quantity for the next harvest period. We are informed about the way of harvesting and how the seeds are treated and packed before shipping. Als we see the progress the partners make compared with last visit. This way we work on better product and innovations.
South Africa has a rich fauna, many seeds grow in good in the African sun, Like the Strelitzia , Dypsis ,Agapanthus and many other seeds. The trip was very successful , because we met many different people in the business which create a network of knowledge.
